Description:

Welcome to the Coastal Discovery Museum!
The Coastal Discovery Museum is one of the most memorable destinations on Hilton Head Island. Explore natural history and cultural heritage on the 68 acre Honey Horn property. The Museum’s trails, gardens, live oaks, butterfly enclosure and Marsh Tacky horses are just a few of the fun experiences you will encounter during your visit.

Historic sites are becoming popular for weddings and receptions, family reunions, church picnics, celebrations for birthdays and anniversaries as well as corporate photo shoots or commercials. When planning your next big event, consider the Museum’s historic Honey Horn venue which can accommodate groups of all sizes. At Honey Horn, you will find a venue with a unique Lowcountry feel in a natural setting under 300–400 year old Virginia live oaks, draped in Spanish moss overlooking a scenic salt marsh. This historic 68 acre property offers a variety of unique sites, both in and outdoors, including a 4,000 square foot covered pavilion, a terrace with fountain overlooking Jarvis Creek and large indoor rooms.

Contact Robin Swift at 843 689 6767 ext. 224 or rswift@coastaldiscovery.org to discuss availability and rates.
